To be cringe is to be free! Everybody knows the 80s were iconic. It was a time of technological breakthroughs marked by the MTV music channel , brick mobile phones the size of shoeboxes and the Walkman. In the 1980s MORE was MORE and FORM followed FANTASY! More colour, more statement, more noise. Subtlety was out of fashion and luckily, it’s not our style either. In preparation for this launch our designers embraced the cringe of the 80s. The SEVENFRIDAY team channeled their inner Jane Fonda and spent the weekends slow-motion running in red swimsuits. With our perms in place and Blondie blasting from the speakers we got to work on the P1C/06. Fittingly nicknamed ”The Bubble Gum”, it’s based on the recognisable P-Series design featuring our signature cushion shaped case. The four layer dial construction in mauve, papaya, bubblegum pink and pastel green is contrasted against the bright white ceramic animation ring. Eleven applied indexes refilled with Swiss SuperLuminova bring added depth to the glossy dial. In a sea of beige, and quiet luxury we want to take up space and be loud about it. The P1C/06 “Bubble Gum” is made for a bigger, brighter, 80s summer! Our motto for 2026: to be cringe is to be free.
