If we subscribe to this mindset, we’ve been flattered a thousand times over… Not long after our launch we saw clones of our watches popping up online and all over the world. Our design may have been copied many times over but what they can’t copy is what the watch stands for. The community, story, people behind the design and the whole attitude that drives SEVENFRIDAY’s existence! A counterfeit may give someone the illusion of a SEVENFRIDAY but it gives them none of the reason to want one. In 2015 we started chipping every one of our products with an NFC chip. Customers can scan the case-back of their watch via the SEVENFRIDAY app, verifying the authenticity of their watch and registering themselves as the official owner. This technology makes us one of the only brands that can guarantee the authenticity our products!
