She is somebody’s daughter, a sister, a friend, a colleague and a neighbour. Her life mattered and she deserved to be heard and supported. This could’ve been avoided and her life saved. My heart breaks for a life cut short, a family mourning for their loved one. Not so long ago, a medical intern informed his senior at work that he wasn’t feeling well and needed to get medical attention, he was forced to report at work. Just like that, he was gone. What’s next? A vacant position advertised, and on the flip side of that, a family shattered for life. We can and we have to do better. Rest in peace Gcina Dhladhla 🕊️
