🗞️What do people with CIDP go through before getting the right diagnosis? 👀 Our new research in Frontiers- Neuroscience and Neurology looks into this journey. CIDP is a rare autoimmune condition that affects nerves and muscles. In an international survey of 542 patients: 📆 It took a median of 7 months to reach a diagnosis ❌ Over a third were misdiagnosed at least once ⌚ People with milder symptoms or less typical forms of CIDP often waited even longer These findings highlight how challenging the diagnostic journey can be — and why raising awareness and improving pathways matters.
