We’re proud to celebrate the achievements of our trainees at the 2026 Zeal Futures Excellence Awards, held last week in Newcastle. Congratulations to Bec Dobson, named Trainee of the Year, and Tylah Mapperson, named Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander Apprentice/Trainee of the Year. These achievements recognise their dedication, resilience, and commitment to learning and showcase the powerful impact of traineeships in building strong, future-focused career pathways.    A big thank you to our leaders and teams across Service NSW who continue to invest time, care, and expertise into developing emerging talent.    The Service NSW Traineeship Program continues to strengthen training pathways and support a skilled workforce. By combining on-the-job experience with formal study, it enables participants to gain nationally recognised qualifications while contributing to essential services for the people of NSW.
