Meet Candy, founder of She Rests, a charity supporting mothers raising autistic children. What began as a simple community lunch in 2022 quickly grew into something much more: a safe space for connection, education, and much-needed respite.    Candy identified a clear gap and stepped forward to make a difference. But like many founders, the journey came with its challenges. As she shared “It could have been completely overwhelming, if not for the confidence and support I received from Kelly at the Service NSW Business Bureau.”    With the right guidance, connections, and encouragement, Candy transformed her idea into a meaningful initiative that is now supporting families across the community.     “It has made this potentially intimidating and overwhelming experience feel achievable, hopeful and safe.”    Thank you to Candy and Kelly for the incredible work you’re doing to strengthen and support our community.
