Serve Louisiana is thrilled to launch the Boards & Commissions Fellowship, a new opportunity for community-minded leaders who want to make a meaningful impact in public decision-making. No prior political or policy experience is required—just a commitment to serving your community. If you care about improving local health, protecting natural resources, and bringing diverse perspectives into leadership spaces, this fellowship is for you. Participants will take part in a six-month, in-person fellowship with monthly full-day trainings on governance, public meeting laws, parliamentary procedure, policy development, and more, plus one-on-one mentorship to support the board and commission appointment process.
