Last week, a federal judge ruled in our favor and reinstated our AmeriCorps grant. This means our members will return to service and complete the 11-month terms they committed to. When our program was abruptly defunded earlier this year, along with more than 1,000 others across the country, we made the decision to take legal action. Not just to protect our members and partners, but to stand up for the civic responsibility we’ve spent over 30 years fostering. Thanks to this ruling, we’re able to honor our commitment to our members so they can continue honoring theirs to the communities they serve.
