President and CEO at BMW (Schweiz) AG
A new chapter for our finance leadership at BMW (Schweiz) AG I am a strong believer: change, in every field, always brings opportunity — and in few days we begin a smooth transition in our finance leadership. As of May 1st , Jörg Hörner will take on the role of Chief Financial Officer and join the Management Board of BMW (Schweiz) AG. He succeeds Timur Hülagu, who will return to BMW Group’s headquarters in Munich on the same date, in a key role in the central controlling. Timur has shaped our financial path in Switzerland with professionalism and clarity. Since joining BMW Group in 2004 he built a remarkable career across Controlling and Finance — from long-term planning and budgeting to leading key finance functions. As our CFO since January 2022, Timur navigated BMW (Schweiz) AG through challenging economic conditions and supported our business development with rigorous analysis and steady leadership. His strategic insight and pragmatic approach have left a lasting mark on our organisation. I wish him every success in his next role back at the BMW Group HQ. 🙏 At the same time, I warmly welcome Jörg to his new position. Jörg brings deep finance expertise from across the BMW Group — from reporting at BMW Financial Services to leading accounting setup for our plant in Mexico. Most recently he has driven a major transformation programme to modernise our IT finance systems. His experience with large-scale finance transformation and international operations will be invaluable here in Switzerland. Timur and Jörg are already working since days on a professional and well organized handover, working together in Dielsdorf. I look forward to working closely with Jörg to continue strengthening BMW (Schweiz) AG’s financial resilience and support our strategic priorities, together with our team and dealer partners 🤝📊 #BMWGroupSwitzerland #Leadership
