Privileged to have represented Hungary at the 4th Turkic World International Engineering Summit, held in Baku, Azerbaijan on May 6–8, 2026. As a panelist in the "Defence Industry in the Turkic World" session, I had the opportunity to present the capabilities and operational focus areas of HT Division Zrt ( www.htdivision.com ) — and to engage with fellow experts on the forces reshaping the defence sector today: shifting geopolitical dynamics, the accelerating role of emerging technologies, and the transformative impact of artificial intelligence on defence systems and decision-making. Beyond the panel, the summit offered an exceptional platform for meaningful dialogue with academics and industry professionals from across the Turkic world. I am pleased to share that these conversations extended well beyond the exchange of ideas — we reached a consensus on advancing joint concept development and collaborative projects, to be further developed through bilateral cooperation agreements. A concrete and promising step forward. Representing Hungary alongside Dr. Utku KALE made this an even more rewarding experience. A sincere thank you to the Turkish Engineers Association ( Türk Mühendisler Derneği ) for organising this outstanding event and for extending the invitation to us from Hungary. I would also like to express my gratitude to all the moderators, fellow panelists, and participants whose contributions made the discussions so rich and forward-looking. It is precisely this kind of cross-border intellectual exchange that drives our industries — and our collaboration — forward. The Turkic world represents a strategically significant corridor of talent, expertise, and ambition. Events like this remind us how much can be achieved when engineering excellence meets strategic vision — and when relationships are built with the intent to last. Looking forward to turning these conversations into tangible outcomes. #HTDivisionZrt #UnmannedSystems #KATICA #DefenceIndustry #AI #EmergingTechnologies #Engineering #Hungary #TurkicWorld #Azerbaijan #Baku #Cooperation #TurkishEngineersAssociation
