Not all nanodrugs travel the same path—even in the same vehicle. A team led by Prof. Joon Myong Song identified a key factor: tumor blood vessel damage. The more a drug disrupts these vessels, the deeper it penetrates—and the stronger its anticancer effect. A small difference in damage, a big difference in outcome.
