🏟️ From match-day venues to 365-day business platforms   🔙 Last week, Jorge Vizcaya, Head of Sports & Entertainment at Sener, took part in the World Football Summit event in Monterrey (Mexico), sharing insights on how stadiums are evolving into year-round drivers of business and urban transformation.   Together with Adrián Hidalgo, Chief Commercial Officer 4S Real Estate Foresight; Jose Ramón Fernández Gutiérrez de Quevedo, Vice-President of Communications, Media & Marketing Grupo Pachuca; and Raúl Respaldiza Mateos, CEO ZERTIOR; the session highlighted a fundamental shift:   ➡️ Stadiums business can no longer rely solely on matchdays. Operating just 25–30 days per year is no longer sustainable. ➡️ Today’s stadiums are becoming multi-purpose destinations, integrating retail, entertainment, and real estate developments to remain active 365 days a year. ➡️ Advanced architectural and engineering solutions now enable venues to protect or retract the pitch, unlocking the ability to host concerts, exhibitions, and large-scale events without compromising the turf. ➡️ This evolution is redefining the role of sports clubs: from sole owners to main tenants within a broader urban and business hub, while preserving the emotional connection and identity as a home for the fans.   At Sener, we see stadiums as complex, multifunctional infrastructures that combine engineering and architecture excellence, operational flexibility, and commercial vision to create lasting impact in cities.   #SenerMobility #WFSMexicoCity #WorldFootballSummit #SportsInfrastructure #UrbanDevelopment #Innovation
