30 years of Semperflex Asia Corporation This year, we are celebrating a remarkable milestone: 30 years of SAC, Semperflex Asia Corporation – our joint venture between SEMPERIT AG and the Thai Sri Trang Group. Founded in 1996 with a clear vision to expand hydraulic hose production into Asia, SAC began with an annual capacity of around 3 million meters of hose. Today, the site has grown into one of the most competitive hose production facilities in Asia, with a capacity of up to 30 million meters per year and around 400 dedicated employees. This development reflects not only the quality, efficiency, and demand for our hoses, but above all the commitment, expertise and long-standing partnership between the teams at Semperit and Sri Trang. It also shows the resilience of the organization: even last year’s severe flooding – which significantly impacted the region – was managed remarkably well thanks to the dedication and professionalism of the local team. The anniversary celebration brought together many colleagues from both companies, including Sri Trang CEO Veerasith Sinchareonkul and our board members Manfred Stanek, Gerfried Eder and Helmut Sorger, underlining the strength of this collaboration. At the same time, we also said farewell to Michael Adelbauer, who played a key role in building up the production site and shaping SAC’s success over many years. We would like to express our heartfelt thanks to Michael for his exceptional achievements, his perseverance, and his 40 years of dedication to SEMPERIT AG.
