It is important to clarify that TSMC has not “completely avoided purchasing” or “abandoned” High-NA EUV. Based on currently available public information, TSMC has already obtained a small number of High-NA EUV tools, mainly for R&D, process learning, and early ecosystem preparation, rather than immediate high-volume manufacturing deployment. The real issue is not whether TSMC will buy High-NA EUV, but when TSMC will scale High-NA EUV into high-volume manufacturing. https://lnkd.in/g57rsSFN
