I joined e2vc almost 3 years ago thinking I was signing up for a Talent role. Little did I know I’d also be starring in a comedy about: – being the only person in the Talent team (“Selin, can you also do X?” always: yes. no matter how silly or unrelated the task is.) – being promoted after a long fight of figuring things out on the fly, with zero playbook, two Yılmaz Vurals as coaches (Enis Hulli&Arın Özkula): think less “structured guidance,” more “kızım koş halledersin!” 🏃‍♀️- thanks for the joke Arın- - and fighting hard to earn a new reputation after spending years of being a fully-fledged Beyaz Türk. (also a joke. no offense.) Haven't posted in a while, so using this opportunity to remind myself to my network 👊 From founder mapping to deal sourcing, co-founder matchmaking to hunting talent, portfolio recruitment to cat baby-sitting, it’s been a wild ride, and we’re just getting started.
