𝘛𝘩𝘦 𝘩𝘰𝘳𝘴𝘦 𝘪𝘴 𝘴𝘰𝘰𝘰𝘰 𝘱𝘳𝘦𝘵𝘵𝘺..... This literally slipped out of my mouth when I saw the Lo Hei at last Friday’s event! Hats off to the #SGLN team for putting this together — the attention to detail on the horse was amazing. 🐎✨What a great way to spend Friday. And I totally forgot that it was Friday the 13th? 😅 Wern-Yuen Tan's sharing was incredible — and honestly, others have already summarised his main takeaways perfectly in this platform. Jumping into this wagon and adding 3 from me - and this is really my personal interpretation...... 1️⃣ 𝐓𝐢𝐦𝐞 𝐦𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐠𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 – Leadership often means making sacrifices people don’t always see: family time, friends, hobbies, free time. 2️⃣ 𝐑𝐚𝐜𝐢𝐬𝐦 (or is it?) – We always talk about earning our seat at the table. But sometimes, are our own insecurities the real thing holding us back? Do we always need to wait for an invitation — or just pull up our own chair? 3️⃣ 𝐀𝐝𝐯𝐢𝐜𝐞 𝐭𝐨 𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐠𝐞𝐫 𝐬𝐞𝐥𝐟 – My favourite part — and I totally agree with his point of view — is this: one piece of advice to our younger selves would be, don’t let your goals be shaped by others. As with usual events by #sgln - A lovely evening catching up with old friends (and making new ones!).
