🚍 Following a public tender, EMT Madrid has selected SEGULA Technologies and MARTÍNEZ SEGOVIA to design the future Las Tablas #bus depot! Spanning 120,000 square metres, it is set to become one of Europe's largest zero-emission electric bus facilities. This strategic project will drive the decarbonisation of Madrid’s public transport network with a fleet of over 630 electric buses and smart charging infrastructures capable of managing exceptional energy demands (💡the equivalent of powering up a mid-sized city every night within a matter of hours!) For this large-scale project, our engineers are deploying cutting-edge technologies: ✅ 𝐓𝐡𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐠𝐡 𝐬𝐦𝐚𝐫𝐭 𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐠𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐬𝐲𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐦𝐬, our experts are designing a high-capacity infrastructure that enables the simultaneous charging of hundreds of battery-electric buses. ✅ 𝐓𝐨 𝐦𝐚𝐱𝐢𝐦𝐢𝐬𝐞 𝐬𝐞𝐥𝐟-𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐮𝐦𝐩𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐞𝐜𝐨-𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐩𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐲, the site will feature an integrated photovoltaic solar plant alongside innovative water recovery systems to drastically reduce the facility’s environmental footprint. ✅ 𝐃𝐫𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐠𝐲 𝐞𝐟𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐲 𝐭𝐡𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐠𝐡 𝐝𝐢𝐠𝐢𝐭𝐚𝐥 𝐭𝐰𝐢𝐧𝐬, using advanced BIM digital twin methodology, we simulate and optimise the complex's thermal and electrical performance in real time to ensure low-consumption and ultra-secure energy management.
