For over 20 years, Challenge DV has fought for an end to family and domestic violence (FDV), driving change through education, advocacy, partnerships and fundraising. Sedgman has proudly supported their Darkness to Daylight event annually since 2019, and this year was no exception – 16 Sedgman employees participated last week, with a further four volunteering. Darkness to Daylight consists of three races, a 3km, 10km and 110km, the longest representing the average number of lives lost to FDV annually in Australia. The money raised by participants actively funds Challenge DV’s individual, workplace, and community programs. Thank you to everyone who showed up last week to champion an end to FDV.
