Yesterday, on 20 May (Wednesday), Istanbul once again hosted a remarkable UEFA Europa League night ✨ Ever since iconic finals like the legendary Liverpool Football Club –AC Milan showdown, it has been widely understood how perfectly Istanbul fits into the European football stage. Last night was another reminder of that. In one of the most beautiful stadiums in the world—arguably top 3 in my view—we witnessed an incredible atmosphere 🏟️ The energy inside the stadium was simply unforgettable, elevated even further by the passion of the fans from both sides. A special mention goes to the supporters of Sport-Club Freiburg e.V. 🔴⚪ Despite coming from a relatively smaller city in Germany, their identity, loyalty, and unity make them feel truly global. That level of commitment is something football always deserves to see on the biggest stages. Congratulations to Aston Villa Football Club 🟣🔵 for lifting the trophy and delivering a football spectacle worthy of a final like this. A performance and atmosphere that will be remembered for a long time. And finally—everyone knows we are now officially a “cat nation” 🐾 So a special thank you to the cat who made a surprise appearance in the stadium and reminded us, once again, that football belongs to everyone who shares its spirit 😄 What a night.
