The best bugs found at a pentest company each month? At our place, they get their own spot on the podium. We call it "Bug of the Month". Every month our pentesters submit their most interesting findings. It's not about what scores highest on CVSS, but about the bugs that really stand out, clever, unexpected, the kind that make the rest of the team ask "wait, how did you even spot that?". From all the submissions, four favorites are picked by jury, and their authors write short articles based on real vulnerabilities from our pentests. Then the whole team votes. One person, one vote. One bug wins. A few things that matter to us here: π we value βthe craftβ of pentesting π we share knowledge: the best findings, written up by the author, go public handy as inspiration or a knowledge base π we keep things confidential: any code or screenshots we add are always carefully anonymized π the nominees and the monthly winner all get a cash reward A good pentest isn't about ticking off a checklist. It's curiosity, persistence, and that one moment when something that was supposed to be safe turns out not to be. And a moment like that deserves to be talked about. So over the coming months, keep an eye out for posts from the #BugOfTheMonth series.
