We're hiring to support our lab team in Aachen! At SECARA we're building circular value chains for technical plastics. Our lab drives catalyst development, depolymerization, and scale-up towards industrial scale. We're looking for someone to become an integral part of our R&D team: Chemistry lab assistant, technician, or comparable background (m/f/d). Three things that define this role: 1) Real R&D, no routine. Every experiment answers an open question. If you'd rather think along than just execute, you'll have much room here to explore your own creative ideas to bring SECARA to the next level. 2) Full range. Catalyst synthesis, pressure reactor runs, product purification, analytics (HPLC, GC, GC-MS, UV-Vis, NMR) — all in one role. Great variability, and that's exactly why you learn fast. 3) Visibility. Compact founding team, short paths, direct line to industry partners and academic collaborations. What happens in the lab ends up in our FOAK plant. Must-haves: completed vocational training, solid hands-on lab experience in synthesis and/or analytics, independent & proactive working style, German OR English skills.
