Our Review on Metal Halide Perovskites for Violet and Ultraviolet Light Emission is now available at ACS Nano! Here, we highlight the progress of both violet and ultraviolet metal halide perovskites nanomaterials and light-emitting diodes, which includes the synthesis and device fabrication across multiple crystal structures and dimensions (including bulk thin films, 2D thin films, nanoplatelets, colloidal nanocrystals, and more) as well as lead-free platforms (such as rare-earth metal halide perovskites). We also propose tactics that are aligned with the current development and outstanding challenges associated with this material class system at this difficult energy regime to unleash new materials and devices for important applications in public health, 3D printing, nanofabrication, and more. Also, stay tuned for our nanoplatelets paper which is in press and I will share soon! https://lnkd.in/gF_MvwpT #perovskites #violet #ultraviolet #LEDs #leadfree #nanocrystals #2D #rareearth #optoelectronics #nanotechnology #semiconductors #Stanford #electricalengineering #materialsscience
