SEB Asset Management's real estate funds, Domestica I, III and IV, are divesting its Swedish portfolios, in total comprising 26 modern properties and approximately 2,500 apartments, to KPA Pension, part of the Folksam Group. “Over an extended period, we have built attractive and well-positioned residential portfolios in these funds. The divestment to a financially strong and long-term owner such as Folksam Group, underscores the quality of the assets and ensures high-quality property management and continuity for the tenants. The transaction enables a realization of value, the return of capital to our investors, and enables resources to pursue new investment opportunities within our funds,” says Björn Arvidsson, Portfolio Manager at SEB Asset Management. We continue to build on our established real estate program, and fundraising for Domestica VI will begin shortly, supported by attractive opportunities in the current market. The fund will focus on high quality residential properties and public properties in Sweden.
