šŸŒŠšŸ“š The #SEAQUESTProject is working to integrate seagrass literacy into primary education in Europe šŸ‡ŖšŸ‡ŗ As part of Work Package 3, the project is now developing the #EducationalToolkit šŸŽ’āœØ. The kit incorporates the Curriculum for Teachers, the Educational Guide and the VR game šŸŽ® — three innovative training materials that provide in-class, outdoor, and technology-driven learning experiences for primary school children šŸ‘§šŸ§’. In the SEAQUEST Educational Guide - Classroom & Fieldwork/Outdoor Activities, teachers will soon find 3ļøāƒ£ 0ļøāƒ£ lesson plans of classroom and outdoor learning experiences šŸ«šŸŒæ. Here you can have a glimpse of a lesson plan we're working on! The plan includes a card game šŸƒ in which students are asked to reorganize the #seagrass #foodweb according to the message in the card that came out. The lesson plans are aligned with the thematic modules developed in the #CurriculumforTeachers šŸ“–. The Curriculum addresses a range of fundamental topics about seagrasses and their conservation that teachers need to promote seagrass literacy in their classrooms šŸŒ±šŸ’™. Teachers using the Toolkit will be empowered by high-quality, ready-made materials that they can use to apply the seagrass knowledge immediately in the classroom šŸ’”šŸ™Œ. šŸ”— You can find more about the Educational Toolkit on the SEAQUEST website here šŸ‘‰ https://lnkd.in/dDEqJzaE Lesson plans coming soon! šŸŽ‰ Democritus University of Thrace - (D.U.Th.) šŸ”¹ Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (AUTH) šŸ”¹ Centre of Marine Sciences (CCMAR) šŸ”¹ European Marine Science Educators' Association (EMSEA) šŸ”¹ STANDOUTEDU šŸ”¹ Multisensory Experience Lab
