šš The #SEAQUESTProject is working to integrate seagrass literacy into primary education in Europe šŖšŗ As part of Work Package 3, the project is now developing the #EducationalToolkit šāØ. The kit incorporates the Curriculum for Teachers, the Educational Guide and the VR game š® ā three innovative training materials that provide in-class, outdoor, and technology-driven learning experiences for primary school children š§š§. In the SEAQUEST Educational Guide - Classroom & Fieldwork/Outdoor Activities, teachers will soon find 3ļøā£ 0ļøā£ lesson plans of classroom and outdoor learning experiences š«šæ. Here you can have a glimpse of a lesson plan we're working on! The plan includes a card game š in which students are asked to reorganize the #seagrass #foodweb according to the message in the card that came out. The lesson plans are aligned with the thematic modules developed in the #CurriculumforTeachers š. The Curriculum addresses a range of fundamental topics about seagrasses and their conservation that teachers need to promote seagrass literacy in their classrooms š±š. Teachers using the Toolkit will be empowered by high-quality, ready-made materials that they can use to apply the seagrass knowledge immediately in the classroom š”š. š You can find more about the Educational Toolkit on the SEAQUEST website here š https://lnkd.in/dDEqJzaE Lesson plans coming soon! š Democritus University of Thrace - (D.U.Th.) š¹ Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (AUTH) š¹ Centre of Marine Sciences (CCMAR) š¹ European Marine Science Educators' Association (EMSEA) š¹ STANDOUTEDU š¹ Multisensory Experience Lab
