台湾の一般図書館では、コーベットの著作はほとんど見かけない。それは少し残念なことだ。台湾は世界で最も広大な海と最大の脅威に直面している島であることを考えれば、非軍事関係の民間人、とりわけ予備役の男性兵士たちが、軍や海軍に関する基礎知識を持っておくほうがよいだろう。 Corbett's works can hardly be found in Taiwan's non-academic libraries. That's a little pity. Considering Taiwan as an island facing the greatest ocean and the greatest threat in the world, it would be better if nonmilitary civilians, especially reserve male soldiers, have basic knowledge about the military and the navy.
