Seafood Souq was pleased to co-host the MAJRA Fisheries Impact Lab, a collaborative session bringing together stakeholders from government, industry, research, seafood production, conservation, technology, and supply chain sectors. The lab created an important platform to align priorities and co-develop practical solutions that support the long-term sustainability, resilience, and competitiveness of the UAE fisheries sector. 📍Key discussion areas included sustainable fish stock management, aquaculture innovation, traceability and supply chain efficiency, food security and local seafood production, and stronger regulatory-industry collaboration. We are proud to contribute to this important national conversation and to support the development of actionable pathways that advance responsible fisheries, strengthen local seafood systems, and build a more transparent and resilient seafood value chain.
