Two abstracts accepted, a proud moment for the Global Surgery Lab 🎊'. We are pleased to announce that two articles from our Global Surgery Lab have been accepted for poster presentations at the Houston Global Health Collaborative (HGHC) Conference, which will be place on March 14 at the Texas A&M School of Engineering Medicine in Houston, Texas. Accepted Abstracts: • "Barriers and Facilitators to Implementing Laparoscopic Surgery in Low- and Middle-Income Countries: A Systematic Review Using the Consolidated Framework for Implementation Research (CFIR)" • "Armed Conflict and Surgical Care Disruption in Sudan, 2025: A Three-Delays Framework Analysis of Patients and Surgeons' Perspectives" These studies illustrate key difficulties and opportunities in global surgical systems, ranging from increasing the implementation of minimally invasive surgery in low-resource settings to better understanding how armed conflict affects access to critical surgical treatment. The review panel praised both submissions for the high quality of the study and the findings' importance to increasing global health and surgical equity. This success highlights the Global Surgery Lab team's dedication, teamwork, and commitment to creating relevant research that informs policy, enhances health systems, and promotes equal access to safe surgical treatment around the world. To all of the team members and collaborators who worked on this project, congratulations. We are excited to share our findings with the globally health community. #GlobalSurgerySudan #SurgicalQuality #SCSDResearch #SurgicalQuality #GlobalSurgeryLab
