Last week, ScreenSYS pitched at Hello Tomorrow. Out of 4,800 applications, 100 deep tech finalists were selected to pitch. Of which, we were proud to be recognised as one of the 26 stand-out startups. In addition to pitching, we met with investors, potential partners and fellow deep tech teams. The theme that resonated? The time is now for making biological R&D more scalable, more automated and more decision-ready. For crop innovation, that means tackling some of the hardest bottlenecks in the lab: plant regeneration, screening throughput, breeding timelines and data quality, while using AI to help teams make better decisions earlier. At ScreenSYS, we are already building around these principles. Thank you to Hello Tomorrow for bringing together such a strong deep tech community, and to everyone we met during the event. Let’s continue the conversation. Thank you to Kim Wagenaar (Future Food Fund), Yasmin Venema (4impact capital), Taha Adnan (Zaz Ventures), Jeffery Fortman (BioMADE), Angelica Nicodemo (Engineering Lab). Fabien Fasson (AlphaEdge), Marina Kraupner (Start2 Group), Christine R Gould (GIGA Futures), Jeroen van der Staay (Rabo Ventures), Jeroen Geerts for our insightful chats! #DeepTech #PlantBreeding #CropInnovation #Automation #AI
