I’m excited to share that we just opened the A Very Special Place (AVSP) Gift Shop at ArchCare at Carmel Richmond Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center. It’s a great shop with useful items, thoughtful gifts, and an even greater purpose. The shop serves as a job training site for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, giving them a chance to build real-world skills, confidence, and independence in a supportive setting. Thank you to the Staten Island Chamber of Commerce for hosting the ribbon cutting, and to the representatives from Senator Jessica Scarcella-Spanton and District Attorney Michael McMahon’s office for joining us.
