March Madness – the NCAA men’s and women’s basketball championships – is hands-down my favorite time of year. I’m riveted, glued to the screen. Growing up in Indiana and playing lots of hoops, I just love it. Underdogs rise, teams face adversity and champions are made. But beyond the buzzer-beaters and Cinderella stories, there’s a lesson in leadership. The best teams aren’t just the ones with the most talent. They’re the ones with the most discipline, adaptability, cohesiveness and commitment. They trust their systems, make adjustments in real time and rely on each other to execute under pressure. Great businesses operate the same way. Success isn’t about one star player or a single big win – it’s about a strong culture, a clear game plan, consistent execution, and the ability to pivot when challenges arise. The organizations that thrive are the ones that don’t just play for today but build for sustained excellence. Our business system helps us do just that. As the tournament unfolds, I’m watching not just for the upsets, but for the leadership and teamwork lessons on display. Because whether it’s on the court or in the boardroom, the best team wins. #MarchMadness #Leadership #Culligan
