🤝 We have renewed our research and technical support partnership with NIRAS-ONDRAF Belgian Agency for Radioactive Waste and Enriched Fissile Materials, reinforcing Belgium’s long-standing commitment to responsible radioactive waste management. The collaboration is structured around key programme lines: 1️⃣ waste characterisation 2️⃣ surface and near-surface disposal 3️⃣ deep geological disposal It is underpinned by focused R&D domains including: 🟣 spent fuel behaviour 🟣 waste form evolution 🟣 advanced cement technologies 🟣 clay characterisation 🟣 gas transport 🟣 radionuclide migration 🟣 monitoring 🟣 and stakeholder communication.
