Malaria continues to take hundreds of thousands of lives each year. SC Johnson’s spatial repellent, Guardian™, was created as a not-for-profit solution to help fill a critical gap in prevention, offering long-lasting, simple and effective protection. Today, we’re grateful to announce our partnership with the U.S. Department of State and The Global Fund to expand access to Guardian so more families across Sub-Saharan Africa can have reliable protection from malaria and other insect-borne diseases. This agreement will help reach more than 60 million people over the next three years. No single organization can eliminate malaria alone. This partnership demonstrates how innovation, combined with a global procurement and delivery platform, can expand equitable access to life-saving malaria prevention tools.
