Wiggins Watermelons Chooses Schweiss for Its New Machine Shed Wiggins Watermelons, LLC is a family-owned operation in Caldwell, Texas, that grows, packs, and ships its own produce. Over time, the tractors and implements outgrew the smaller machine sheds. "There was a lot of equipment left outside," Clint Wiggins said. So, the family built a new machine shed. It’s a single-slope steel building with three Schweiss lift-strap bifold doors, each 26 feet wide and 18 feet tall, and nearly 78 feet of access along one side. Three wide openings make it easier for the crew to work without having to move everything else out of the way. They considered hiring a contractor but then installed the doors themselves. “A Schweiss Door is the only one to get when you need a door that big,” said Curt. “It was easier than I thought.
