🎉 On May 27, we celebrated the #groundbreaking of our #RECOSiC factory in Frechen at ESK-SIC GmbH—marking the largest investment in the history of the Schunk Group. 📽️In the video: impressions from this special day and perspectives on a project that brings together sustainability and security of supply. 📍With the construction of the world’s first factory for recycling silicon carbide, we are sending a strong signal for Germany as a business location. The innovative RECOSiC® process makes it possible to return valuable resources to the industrial cycle, reduce dependencies, and significantly cut CO₂ emissions. Together with Minister-President Hendrik Wüst, as well as representatives from government, business, and industry, we celebrated this important milestone.
