Looking back on a powerful peer-to-peer event on corporate democratic action with the Schmalenbach-Gesellschaft für Betriebswirtschaft e.V.. Last week Thursday, on June 25, around 30 leading minds from business and academia gathered at Scholz & Friends in Berlin to exchange and discuss how companies can effectively operationalize their commitment to democracy. Next to intensive peer-to-peer brainstorming, Joris-Johann Lenssen (Managing Director, Scholz & Friends Reputation) and Prof. Dr. Markus Scholz from Technische Universität Dresden hosted working groups focusing on civil society alliances and preparing for authoritarian-populist scenarios. Our biggest take-aways & highlights? 💛 A powerful keynote by Harald Langenfeld (Sparkasse Leipzig) on the role of regional businesses in strengthening democratic resilience.  💛 Practical insights from Inga Holtmann (Lufthansa Technik) on implementing democracy-promoting projects – a journey we were proud to support!  💛 An inspiring concluding roundtable with Tanja A. Börzel, Thomas Beschorner, and Sabine Klisch, moderated by Benedikt Kapteina.
