More than a bridging technology: Schaeffler offers a comprehensive portfolio for all hybrid powertrain types The future of mobility is electric. Schaeffler supports this transformation with a broad portfolio ranging from components to complete systems for hybrid powertrains. We are convinced that hybrids offer end customers an attractive entry into e-mobility. With a sufficiently high share of electric driving, these vehicles make an important contribution to decarbonizing the mobility sector — every gram of CO2 saved counts. With the MultiMode dedicated hybrid transmission, the Motion Technology Company will start series production this year with various European and Asian vehicle manufacturers worldwide. The system integrates two electric machines, power electronics, and smart hydraulics for cooling, clutch functionality, and a parking lock mechanism. Our solution is suitable for both full hybrids and plug-in hybrids and offers three driving modes: electric, series, and parallel.
