Under the motto “Skills for a shared future,” this year’s World Youth Skills Day highlights the importance of skills for a shared, sustainable future. For young people, not only technical skills are becoming increasingly important, but also digital, AI-related, social, and sustainability-oriented competencies. At Schaeffler, this is exactly where we focus our efforts: apprentices and dual students are introduced to forward-looking technologies such as artificial intelligence, and sustainability is a key priority. What successful engagement can look like was also demonstrated at the national final of Jugend forscht at Schaeffler in Herzogenaurach, Germany: there, young talents presented outstanding research results and innovative ideas.
