We developed a semi-automated production system for high-performance X-ray tubes on behalf of Siemens Healthineers, setting new benchmarks in precision, flexibility and ergonomics. Technical highlights of the system: - Embedded heat treatment furnaces for seamless process integration. - High-precision weighing stations with a capacity of up to 80 kg and an accuracy of ±2 g. - Helium leak detection via specialised measuring stations. - Acoustic testing with airborne and structure-borne sound measurement. - AGV-ready design for automated material flow. - Flexible assembly and testing concept for multiple product variants. - Consistent worker guidance via an intuitive human-machine interface. - Integration into Plant Simulation enables efficient data processing and feedback.
