SHN is excited to announce an additional recipient of the King Charles III Coronation Medal within our network, Dr. Mayoorendra (Mayo) Ravichandiran, MD, MBA, MSc, CCFP(EM), Deputy Chief of Emergency Medicine! Dr. Ravichandiran’s journey with SHN spans over 20 years, starting as a volunteer before becoming a physician 10 years ago. His dedication to improving patient care and advocating for better healthcare access in Scarborough has been a constant in his tenure, and is reflected in his work. This medal commemorates his leadership in healthcare education and research, and his advocacy for quality care as he continues to inspire colleagues and shape the future of healthcare in Scarborough.
