We did it! We’re so proud to share that the SHNF Chinese Radiothon, presented by No Frills, has officially surpassed our goal—raising an incredible $196,453 for Scarborough hospitals! Thank you to the Chinese community for your generosity, to our amazing partners Sing Tao A1 Chinese Radio for helping bring this event to life, to all of our dedicated sponsors, and to the Nanji Family Foundation for matching all donations and doubling the impact of every gift. A heartfelt thank you as well to our incredible volunteers and to Woodside Square for hosting us; your support made this event possible. ❤️ Funds from the Radiothon will help power critical projects, including the redevelopment of Birchmount Hospital. After more than 40 years without a major upgrade, this once-in-a-generation transformation will bring a new patient tower with 200+ inpatient beds and 10+ operating rooms, expanding care for our growing community. Together, we’re building the future of healthcare in Scarborough.
