“Tamil Heritage Month is a time to reflect on our identity, our roots, and the values passed down through generations.” 💛 For Darshan, it’s about honouring the sacrifices of those who came before us while celebrating Tamil language, traditions, and community. Born and raised in Scarborough, Darshan has a deep personal connection to SHN. He and his siblings were all born at Birchmount Hospital, and SHN has been there for his family whenever care was needed. That lifelong bond inspires his commitment to giving back. As the Chair of our annual Tamil Radiothon, Darshan has helped raise vital funds for Scarborough hospitals, bringing equitable care close to home. He continues to rally the community and regularly attends SHN Foundation community events.
