From Site Visit to Strategic Collaboration: Insights from Our Visit to Currenta’s CHEMPARK   Yesterday, our Program Manager Markus Hafner joined Martin Fremerey, Event Manager of the Future Tech Fest, for an insightful site visit at the CHEMPARK of Currenta in #Leverkusen. Shoutout to the great Currenta team for the well organized tour: Martin Voigt, Michael Kauffmann, Sylvia Hungenbach, Andre Sander, Christian Rueckold and Simone Krybus. Our chemistry was off the charts.   The exchange once again demonstrated that a key reality for industrial innovation is that future technologies only scale when industry, scaleups and policymakers collaborate early and strategically. Creating exactly these connections is what our community is for.   And to accelerate this, together with Currenta, we will bring leading stakeholders from industry, the scaleup ecosystem and politics together on July 9 for an exclusive C-level exchange at CHEMPARK Leverkusen.   The event will focus on how industrial incumbents and emerging technology companies can jointly accelerate innovation within the chemical industry and adjacent sectors.   Key topics will include: • selected scaleup pitches addressing relevant challenges and opportunities within the chemical industry • perspectives from policy and innovation stakeholders • a high level panel discussion together with Christian Rueckold (Currenta), Dr. Patrick Müller LL.M. (HEUKING) and Markus Hafner (Scale-up.NRW): How do we create stronger conditions for scaleups within industrial value chains and the chemical sector?   We strongly believe that future technologies do not emerge in isolation.
