👉Staying alert to phishing and domain impersonation🔎🔐   We are seeing an increase in phishing attempts impersonating SBM Offshore, as well as our clients, partners and suppliers. These emails often use lookalike domains, subtle misspellings or variations designed to appear legitimate and build trust. This technique, known as domain typo-squatting, aims to prompt recipients to click malicious links, share sensitive information, or initiate transactions.   What to watch for: 🔎 Slight differences in domain names (e.g. letters replaced with numbers or extra characters added) 🌐 Variations in domain extensions (such as “.co” or “.net” instead of “.com”) ⚠️ Messages that feel urgent, unusual, or inconsistent with standard communication   If something doesn’t look right, pause and verify.   We encourage all partners, clients and suppliers to confirm any sensitive requests through established, secure communication channels.   Staying vigilant is a shared responsibility! #SBMOffshore #BeAlert #PhishingAlert
