Strengthening Our Cross‑Border Rail Production. We’re proud to announce an important milestone in our international production setup. As of June 15th, we have transitioned our product for NOVATRANS on the French route section from Noisy‑Le‑Sec to Novara to full in‑house production through our subsidiary SBB Cargo France. This means we now operate the entire product end‑to‑end from a single source. A key feature of this setup is that train control for the French section is now managed directly from our central Control Centre in Olten. This centralized approach enhances coordination and ensures smooth cross‑border operations. To enable this shift, our dispatchers in Olten completed dedicated training, and we introduced our new BR 188 locomotive, which now supports the production on this corridor. This step marks a significant enhancement of our operational capabilities and strengthens the reliability of our service offering for Novatrans. #BorderlessSwissQuality
