🌍 SaxoCell Cluster 𝗴𝗼𝗲𝘀 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹: 𝗖𝗔𝗥 𝗙𝗜𝗡𝗗𝗘𝗥 𝗮𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗘𝗕𝗔𝗡 𝗕𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗔𝗻𝗴𝗲𝗹 𝗗𝗮𝘆 𝗶𝗻 𝗩𝗶𝗹𝗻𝗶𝘂𝘀💡 Our cluster member Sandy Tretbar from Fraunhofer IZI represented the #CAR 𝗙𝗜𝗡𝗗𝗘𝗥 start-up project at the Start-up Pitch Session during the EBAN - European Business Angel Network 𝗗𝗮𝘆 in #Vilnius. Supported by futureSAX - die Innovationsplattform des Freistaates Sachsen, this event provided an excellent opportunity to showcase innovation from Saxony on an international stage. The exchange with experienced founders, business angels, and investors once again highlighted the value of international networks for knowledge transfer and the development of strong partnerships. Some of the key insights from the event were: 🔺 Investors invest in people – strong leadership and a deep understanding of the regulatory and clinical pathway are essential 🔺 Choosing the right investor for the right stage of development is crucial – Business Angels can play a vital role in bridging the gap to the next milestones 🔺 Transparency about both the potential and the limitations of a technology builds trust – a solid risk mitigation strategy is a key element of every successful innovation journey We are proud to see our cluster members presenting their ideas within international innovation ecosystems and bringing valuable experiences and connections back to the SaxoCell community.
