5 platforms. 2 active. 0 trust. That's the math most Web3 projects are running right now. Looks like growth… But it’s actually dilution. Here’s what happens: Someone finds you on Twitter → excited. Joins your Telegram → last message 6 days ago. Checks Discord → different tone, different info. Visits Reddit → dead. Decision? “Inconsistent team. I’m out.” You didn’t lose them because of bad tech. You lost them because your presence feels abandoned. Most Web3 projects think: “More platforms = more visibility.” Reality: More platforms without structure = → Split attention → Confused messaging → Weak trust → Higher churn The real question: Would you rather be excellent on 2 platforms… or mediocre on 5?
