Save The Children Pakistan Official
Over the past few months, Pakistan has endured catastrophic floods, the worst in Punjab’s history, washing away homes, schools, crops, and livestock, and leaving families devastated both physically and emotionally. Save the Children is on the ground, providing urgent healthcare, temporary shelters, safe learning spaces, and essential supplies to flood-affected communities. Follow our Country Director, Muhammad Khuram Gondal, as he takes us through Jalalpur Pirwala, Multan in South Punjab, one of the hardest-hit districts; over 200,000 people, including 90,000 children, have been affected. We sincerely acknowledge and commend the Government of Pakistan, Government of Punjab, National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) Pakistan and Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA), Punjab for the excellent and effective emergency operations, surge and rescue, and timely evacuations of people have saved thousands of lives. We also commend the Government of Pakistan for mobilizing all available resources and taking decisive action in response to this catastrophe. We stand with Government of Pakistan in appealing to the international community: the scale of loss is unimaginable, but together we can save lives. Your support today can help children and families rebuild their futures.
