Hundreds of thousands of families in Lebanon remain displaced. They are going back to neighbourhoods that no longer resemble the homes they once knew. In the south of Lebanon , whole villages have been razed to the ground. Aid is reaching children and families, but not at the scale or speed needed. With our partners, we are continuing to deliver assistance across Lebanon, including in areas affected by displacement and damage. Despite the announcement of a temporary ceasefire, hostilities are ongoing across much of the country, which continue to put civilians and humanitarian workers at risk and disrupt operations. 👉 Save the Children is calling for a definitive, lasting ceasefire and unfettered humanitarian access to reach children and families with lifesaving assistance. In this vlog, William, Director of Access, Safety and Liaison in Lebanon visits the area near Tyre which has been heavily impacted by the conflict.
