Shurouq, 31, is a Save the Children staff member in Gaza. Shurouq lost her husband after he was killed in the first weeks of the war. Along with her 3-year-old daughter, Karmel*, they have been displaced many times during the war. Since the ceasefire in Gaza was agreed, at least two children a day have been killed or injured.
