Bots & Bratwurst — great days filled with automation, innovation, and meaningful data-driven conversations. At the Saurer Group premises in Charlotte, guests, partners, and #automation enthusiasts came together to explore existing and upcoming robotization solutions, exchange ideas, and gain hands-on experience. The event was designed as a hybrid of presentations and hands-on demonstrations across multiple locations on the Saurer Inc. plant, offering an engaging, immersive, and interactive experience for all participants. A highlight of the event was seeing the CoBot-#AGVs (autonomous transport systems) in action. Attendees had the opportunity to discuss current capabilities alongside future collaborative requirements and developments — making the exchange especially valuable for everyone involved. Key topics included future trends in automation, workforce availability and costs, and the quality advantages collaborative automation brings to production. From live machine demonstrations to engaging discussions and delicious bratwurst, the event brought together reliable state of the art technology, teamwork, and a fantastic atmosphere.
